i'm only one person and the Earth is so big.

can my daily actions impact the earth for good or bad?

Unit Synopsis: In this unit, students analyze claims made in the media about humans impacting the environment.  After determining a correlation between human actions and the increase in negative impacts on the environment, students choose a design challenge and present at a school family night highlighting how they, their families, and community can take action to minimize their impacts on the environment.

Anchoring Phenomenon: Human actions, such as the burning of fossil fuels, have caused a variety of environmental issues ranging from animal extinction to climate change.  If human actions have been part of the problem, then human actions can be a part of the solution.
